HOW TO ENTER: No Contribution or Purchase Necessary to enter or win. The entry period for the Tears of Christ "Trip to the Holy Land" Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") begins at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time (ET) October 15, 2007 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET April 15, 2008 ("Entry Period"). There are two (2) ways to enter this Sweepstakes: (1) To enter online: go to www.tearsofchrist.com click on the sweepstakes icon, and complete the registration page. Once completed, click on "submit" and you will be automatically entered. Online entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM ET on 4/15/08 in order to be eligible. (2) To enter via mail: complete official entry form or simply print your name, address, city, state, zip, phone number and e-mail address on a 3½"x5" piece of paper, insert in an envelope, affix postage and mail to: Tears of Christ "Trip to the Holy Land" Sweepstakes, PO Box 94, Mount Bethel, PA 18343. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by 4/15/08 and received no later than 4/22/08. Limit one entry per outer envelope for mail-in entries. Limit one (1) entry per person/month regardless of method of entry. Incomplete entries are void. Mechanically reproduced, illegible or incomplete entries will not be eligible. All entries must be submitted in the name of an individual person and prize can only be awarded to the person whose name is listed on the entry. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, human error or technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any computer equipment or software, or any combination thereof, or for lost, stolen, late, or misdirected, entries. Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Any entry information collected from the promotion shall be used only in a manner consistent with the consent given by entrants at the time of entry, with these Official Rules, and with Sponsor’s Online Privacy Policy which can be found at www.tearsofchrist.com/policy.asp.
WINNER SELECTION: winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Drawing will be conducted on or about April 29, 2008 under the supervision of Marden-Kane, Inc., an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final on matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winner will be notified via e-mail, over-night courier and/or U.S. Mail within two (2) weeks of prize drawing. Winner will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and where legal, Publicity Release within 14 days following the date of issuance of notification. Non-compliance within this time period or return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and consent to use of their names and/or photographs for advertising or publicity purposes without further consideration, except where prohibited by law.
PRIZES: One (1) Grand Prize: a twelve (12) day trip for two (2) to Israel and Jordan. Trip prize consists of round trip air transportation (coach) for two (2) from a major U.S./Canadian gateway airport nearest winner's home, 5-star hotel accommodations (one standard room for two people) for 10 nights, all transfers, full sightseeing, 3 meals daily and all gratuities. Winner must be available to travel on October 27, 2008 – November 7, 2008 or forfeit the prize. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $8,500.00. Total ARV of all prizes is $8,500.00. All expenses relating to acceptance and use of prize that are not explicitly listed herein as being awarded, including payment of taxes, are responsibility of the winner. No substitution, barter, transfer, or assignment of prize permitted, except by Sponsor at its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value if entire prize or a portion of a prize is unavailable. The winner must be a legal U.S. resident (but not a resident of Puerto Rico) or legal Canadian resident (but not a resident of the Province of Quebec), 18 years of age or older and his/her travel companion must be 18 years of age or older (if under 18, a guest must be an immediate family member for which the winner is the parent or legal guardian), must travel together on the same itinerary, or prize will be forfeited. Minor must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Grand Prize winner and his/her travel companion are responsible for obtaining travel documents as well as travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) that they may wish to obtain (at their own expense) and hereby acknowledges that the Sponsor has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance. If a winner is unable to participate in or accept the prize or any portion of the prize package for any reason, the Sponsor shall have no further obligation to the winner and prize will be awarded to an alternate winner time permitting. Travel arrangements must be made through agent of Sponsor’s choosing. Travel must be completed on dates specified by Sponsor. Actual value of the trip depends on winner’s residence or departure city. Specifics of prize package are subject to availability and Sponsor’s sole discretion. Complete terms and conditions of trip will be furnished with prize notification. Other restrictions may apply.
ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States including the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Puerto Rico and the Province of Quebec), 18 years of age and older at the time of entry. Employees of Morningstar Collection LLC., its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, including Marden-Kane, Inc., prize suppliers, and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings and their respective spouses) and individuals living in the same household as such employees are ineligible to enter or win the Sweepstakes. Void in Puerto Rico and the Province of Quebec and where prohibited by law. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, local and provincial laws and regulations.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: BY PARTICIPATING IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, ENTRANTS AGREE TO ABIDE BY THE TERMS OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND THE DECISIONS OF THE SPONSOR, WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO CLAIM AMBIGUITY IN THE RULES, AND RELEASE, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS MORNINGSTAR COLLECTION LLC, PRIZE SUPPLIERS, MARDEN-KANE, INC., AND EACH OF THEIR AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION AGENCIES AND THEIR RESPECTIVE AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, SHAREHOLDERS AND EMPLOYEES, (COLLECTIVELY, "RELEASEES") FROM AND AGAINST ANY INJURIES, LOSSES, DAMAGES, CLAIMS, ACTIONS ANY LIABILITY OF ANY KIND RESULTING FROM OR ARISING FROM PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, OR ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE, MISUSE OR NONUSE OF THE PRIZE THAT MAY BE AWARDED. Additional Terms and Conditions: Releasees are not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any Sweepstakes related materials; or for transactions (including Entry submissions) that are lost, misdirected, fail to enter into the processing system, or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly or are lost for any reason including computer, telephone, human or other error; or for electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction or error, including inability to access any web site associated with this Sweepstakes, or process any transaction thereon. If in the Sponsor's opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if computer virus, bugs, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or technical difficulties or failures compromise or corrupt or affect the administration, integrity, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and or void any Entries submitted fraudulently, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, or to terminate the Sweepstakes and award the remaining prizes using all eligible, non-suspect Entries received as of the action requiring such termination. Sponsor reserves the right to modify or terminate the Sweepstakes in its entirety at any time and at its sole discretion. Should the Sweepstakes be terminated or modified prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on www.tearsofchrist.com. Any attempts by an individual to access any web site associated with this Sweepstakes via a bot script or other brute force attack or any other unauthorized means will result in the IP address becoming ineligible. Use of automated entry devices, or Sweepstakes entry services or programs are prohibited. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
